Golden Bee Management is led by a father and son team with years of experience in the property management, real estate investment, construction, legal and consulting industries.

David Berneman is an experienced entrepreneur who has built his career working as a real estate consultant, developer, investor, and property manager. David co-founded Golden Bee Investments, a boutique real estate investment and development company that focuses on infill development projects and long-term cash flow investments. To properly manage those investments, and commercial real estate owned by others, David co-founded Golden Bee Management which manages a large portfolio of apartment and commercial buildings in the Los Angeles area. To assist with sales and acquisitions, David also co-founded Golden Bee Realty, which helps clients find ways to augment their real estate portfolios by identifying prime real estate for disposition and purchase. David also brings a significant amount of experience as a real estate consultant working with a nationally-recognized consulting firm. In this capacity, David has assisted developers such as Westfield Corporation, Thomas Properties Group and NBC Universal with proforma analyses, entitlement processing, retail mix evaluations, fiscal impact analyses, and various other economic studies.

David earned a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and dual Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. David is also a registered LEED Accredited Professional and is a member of the US Green Building Council, Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association, and Westside Urban Forum.

Isaac Berneman co-founded Golden Bee Investments, Golden Bee Management and Golden Bee Realty alongside his son. Isaac is a retired attorney with 35 years of experience in corporate, business, real estate and tax law. Isaac is currently a licensed real estate broker in California. As an attorney, Isaac worked with developers and contractors to assist with entitlement strategies, investment portfolio analysis and financial and tax planning strategies. As a real estate broker, he assisted in acquiring and developing commercial sites for numerous clients as well as formulating leases and negotiating contracts. Most notably, Isaac represented a client in the acquisition of a 120,000 square foot commercial manufacturing building as well as assisted in its total renovation and redevelopment. He also aided this client in obtaining low interest financing through a federally administered program. Isaac has professionally managed and renovated hundreds of multi-family and commercial units over the last 25 years.

Isaac earned a Masters of Law (LLM) in Taxation and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. He also earned a Bachelors degree in History with a minor in Accounting from the San Fernando Valley College. Isaac is a member of the Apartment Owners Association and the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors.
